Marina Barrage Water Rushing Video

Ok, here’s the Marina Barrage video that I promised in my previous blog post that I’ll put it up. Quite a long video showing waters from reservoir rushed out into the sea when the crest gate under the Marina Bridge gradually opened.

Henderson Waves Night Photos

Another visit to Henderson Waves in the evening few days ago. This time, I brought with me a D-SLR camera trying to capture Henderson Waves night images. It was meant as a testing or training as I am not familiar in using D-SLR cameras.

Anyway here is one un-edited images of the bridge. The photo will look much nicer if you see it in a larger view.

Anderson Bridge at night

Made a trip down to Anderson Bridge yesterday night and the bridge is back to it’s orginal form after a facelift under lights for the F1 Singapore night race (see F1 Singapore night race track).

Marina Barrage Night Images

Made a trip down to the Marina Barrage today and witness the spectacular view of waters from the reservoir being discharge out into the ocean. Very fortunately, we managed to capture the image of water rapids while the crest gate (under the Marina Bridge) was opening very slowly.

Here are some of the evening Marina Barrage images we captured, a spectacular feast for your eyes. I got the water rapids on video too, should be putting it up on Youtube real soon. Check it out later too.

We took a photo on the Singapore Flyer in the night while standing on the Marina Bridge. With regret, this image is a little out of focus, but the real live scene is just awesome.

Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve Photos

Took the effort to visit Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve this afternoon. Taking bus 925 from Kranji MRT and did a walk to the Wetland Reserve from Kranji Reservoir. If you are planning to visit Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve during the week days. There is a Kranji Express transport in Green you can take advantage of, as it will take you direct to the Wetland Reserve.

I had quite a few encounters with the Lizards and one close encounter with 3 stray dogs. The stray dogs were really big in size. I went there alone, but please go in groups should you decide on this adventure.
