In celebrations for the Chinese festivity, Singapore has put up some Chinese New Year decorations in Marina Promenade and has line-up interesting performances too. Do catch them during the 2009 River Hong Bao.

Made a trip down to New Bridge Road, Eu Tong Sen Street and Chinatown in the evening to capture images of 2009 Chinese New Year celebration. I did not miss on the street light up.

Celebrating Chinese New Year in Singapore

Christmas is over and Chinese New Year 2009 is just around the corner. Made a visit to Chinatown this afternoon and captured some Chinese New Year 2009 celebrations images. At the same time I am still trying to familiarise myself with a DSLR camera. Visited also the Buddha Tooth Relic Buddist Temple when I was in Chinatown. Did not have the opportunity to capture the street light up images in and around Chinatown, especially along New Bridge Road and Eu Tong Sen Street. I’ll snap the night pictures in a day to two.
