A very short visit to Fort Canning Park

Have an opportunity to visit Fort Canning Park few days ago. I was a very short visit, but definitely a very educational one. I will revisit it again later.

The Fort Gate and the adjoining walls are the only remains left from the fortress that once occupied Fort Canning Hill from 1861 to 1926.

At the other side of the Gothic Gate, I saw some tombstones.

I will make another visit to Fort Canning at a convenient time to further understand more about Singapore’s historical heritage. It was a very enriching trip.

Henderson Waves – Highest Pedestrain Bridge

 

Visited Henderson Waves yesterday in the late afternoon. Managed to capture some Henderson Waves Bridge day and night images. On my way home, while cruising through the Forest Walk at night, I managed to also capture two images.

I am a little happy because the photos I took during this trip to Henderson Waves were much better than the ones I previously took. Mainly because, I used a DSLR camera this time round, instead of the compact digital camera that I conveniently previously.

I am still learning, experimenting, and understanding more about the DSLR camera that I am now using.
