If you frequent SingaporeShots’s blog or SingaporeShots.com often, you may have realised that I am experimenting and learning about taking photos using DSLR. And most of the time, I made mistakes. Yes, I am not a pro.

Dragon Boat Race, Singapore Photos

Walked along the Kallang Riverside on Saturday and there was a 10km Dragon Boat Race from Kallang Basin to/from Marina May, racing through the Marina Reservoir.

The Japanese general Seishiro Itagaki surrendered to Lord Mountbatten on the steps on 12 September 1945 at City Hall (Originally known as Municipal Building). Municipal Building was renamed to City Hall in 1951. It was here that Mr Lee Kuan Yew declared Singapore’s independence on 9 August 1965.

Singapore F1 Track Under Lights 2008

Singapore Formula 1 Night Race is just around the corner. Coming this September, F1 vehicles will speed pass the City Hall, Old Supreme Court Building, Esplanande, Singapore Flyer, Anderson Bridge, War Memorial Park, Suntec Convention Center and etc.

Made a trip down to Esplanade Bridge again on 1 August 2009 for the first and last NDP 2009 Preview. It was really crowded compared to NE Shows.
