Singapore Formula 1 Night Race is just around the corner. Coming this September, F1 vehicles will speed pass the City Hall, Old Supreme Court Building, Esplanande, Singapore Flyer, Anderson Bridge, War Memorial Park, Suntec Convention Center and etc.

Made a trip to Marina Barrage on last Sunday. This time I brought along a new canon lens for some test shoots.

Henderson Waves – Highest Pedestrain Bridge

 

Visited Henderson Waves yesterday in the late afternoon. Managed to capture some Henderson Waves Bridge day and night images. On my way home, while cruising through the Forest Walk at night, I managed to also capture two images.

I am a little happy because the photos I took during this trip to Henderson Waves were much better than the ones I previously took. Mainly because, I used a DSLR camera this time round, instead of the compact digital camera that I conveniently previously.

I am still learning, experimenting, and understanding more about the DSLR camera that I am now using.

Had an opportunity to visit Marina Barrage in the late evening and took some night pictures. These are not the best quality image, I’m still trying to better understand the D-SLR camera and the lenses that I am using.

Marina Barrage Water Rushing Video

Ok, here’s the Marina Barrage video that I promised in my previous blog post that I’ll put it up. Quite a long video showing waters from reservoir rushed out into the sea when the crest gate under the Marina Bridge gradually opened.

Another visit to Henderson Waves in the evening few days ago. This time, I brought with me a D-SLR camera trying to capture Henderson Waves night images. It was meant as a testing or training as I am not familiar in using D-SLR cameras.

Anyway here is one un-edited images of the bridge. The photo will look much nicer if you see it in a larger view.
