Something that looks really like a lizard

I am not a pet lover nor someone that likes insect, lizard, fish, dog, crocodile and etc. Interestingly, while I was in HortPark and Bukit Batok Nature Park, I took some nature pictures of a creature that look somewhat like a lizard.

The Japanese general Seishiro Itagaki surrendered to Lord Mountbatten on the steps on 12 September 1945 at City Hall (Originally known as Municipal Building). Municipal Building was renamed to City Hall in 1951. It was here that Mr Lee Kuan Yew declared Singapore’s independence on 9 August 1965.

New Images Captured in Bukit Batok Nature Park

Made a trip down to Bukit Batok Nature Park twice last week and captured some interesting nature pictures of Singapore.

Managed to snap some pictures of the White-crested Laughingthrush but only to discover that I did not have the correct optimal settings on the camera. The images are still viewable, but may not be my best. I hope I’ll have the opportunity to retake this beautiful bird again.

Kallang Riverside Park By Night

Have the opportunity to cruise through the kallang riverside park few days ago in the late afternoon. Walking the Kallang Riverside Park to the Singapore F1 Pit Building and Singapore Flyer.

Decided to make a revisit to Kallang Basin and to wanting to know what is it like to be here in the late evening.

Bukit Batok Nature Park Article

A ex-class mate of mine suggested to visit Bukit Batok Nature Park and we took a few hours walk in the nature park during one of the working days in the late morning to early afternoon. It was a leisure walk with beautiful nature scenery and we spotted some butterflies and a White Crested Laughing Thrush and other birds.

We also visited the site (a series of steps) of one of the fiercest battles fought against the Japanese army leading to the Japanese occupation and there is a book resting on the steps. We went a little further by visiting also the Ford Factory.
